Due to energy crises in our country demand to economical alternate raised exponentially. Industry is in high demand of alternate energy source. At dairies cow dung is most suitable and free waste available. In urban areas organic waste can be a good feed stock for biogas plants.

BioTech established a small experimental kitchen waste biogas plant successfully back in 2011 at a renowned university on hosted mess waste. Which was handed over to department as per conditions mutually agreed.

Different organic wastes need different pre treatments before feeding to a biogas digester. At BBRC study is in process for different feed stocks.

Fresh organic waste can be an easy feed for biogas how ever dried organic waste can also be used after proper treatment.
